Privacy.
Any name or contact details given will only be used to contact the sender. This information will NOT be passed on to any third party without your consent.
The full privacy policy for this site can be viewed by following the privacy link on the bottom of any page on this site.

Hours.
There are no fixed "office hours" at present, as we need to be flexible around what may be needed at any time. We may sometimes be available while working through the night, but then unavailable in "office hours" due to meetings. The Webmaster may be heard on CB through the night, then through the following day. Sleep is sometimes a luxury.

E-mail.
Due to spam and other abuse, all our E-mails go through a filter. Please ensure that the subject is clear and mentions the topic. Including the name of the magazine or something like "CB radio" in the title helps us to see that it is less likely to be spam.
Messages with a suspicious subject such as a simple "help" or "help wanted" will most likely be filtered out, but something more precise such as "microphone wiring" or "antenna help" will be noticed.

Telephone.
At the present time, we only have a mobile number available for contact. This is a true UK mobile number, which is not redirected in any way.
Calls will be charged at the rate set by your service provider, we have no control over this and do not get money from the call. Some providers may include calls to mobile numbers, at certain times or on certain days, in their package price. Feel free to call at weekends, if it means that the call will cost you nothing.
Telephone (Mobile, England):

Text.
Please note that the text contact number accepts simple plain text only, it does not accept any kind of multimedia or ASCII Art content. Any messages containing anything other than plain text may not be received.
Text messages to this number are charged at the usual cost on your network. Such charges are not associated with this site, we have no control over them.
It may be possible to send Text messages FREE by using the Cardboard Fish text service. Please note that we have not tried the service, and do not endorse it.
If you expect a reply, please include your Email address in the message as this is likely to be the method used for any reply.

Citizens' Band Radio.
Whenever possible, we monitor the calling channel (19) on the UK band.
We are located at the new "Skinner Junction" of the M1 motorway, where we can see the passing vehicles.
CB radio: UK Channel 19 (27.78125MHz), M1 junction 29a (Skinner Junction).

News groups.
Newsgroups are like public messages boards. Anyone can leave a message, or reply to one. These groups are open to all and unmoderated, so people joining should not be easily offended by the few people who abuse the freedom offered by these groups. We read messages and, from time to time, may post messages or replies in the following groups:
uk.rec.radio.cb
aus.radio.cb
