Welcome

Citizens Band Magazine.
This site.
This site is provided to give free, unbiased information about Citizens Band radio and associated topics. It is based on the spirit that made CB radio so popular in the 1980s, the community spirit where people would happily help out other local people.

When it comes to magazines, do you feel short-changed?
Do you believe that it is time that you had the option of a real CB related magazine?
Here in the UK, there is no longer any real citizens' band related magazine. The only CB magazine was sold to a series of owners, some of whom swallowed it whole and spat it out as just part of yet another Amateur Radio magazine.
We want to give you the option of a CB related magazine run by and contributed to by those truly interested in the topic. Please help us by filling in the on-line survey.
Responses are extremely welcome from all countries.

Mobile site.
This site is now available for mobile devices, such as mobile phones, via a new site specially designed for mobile devices. The new mobile (WAP) site is optimized for mobile devices with smaller pages, low bandwidth and W3c standard XHTML Basic.
The most viewed page on this site, the microphone database, is now available on-the-go with Web enabled mobile phones.
The new WAP site is available at www.citizens-band.radiouk.com.

Electronics section moved.
As well as the new mobile site, more content is planned is planned for electronics sections. As much of this may not be strictly CB related, much of the electronics information has been moved to the Radio and Electronics Web site.
Electronic related content can still be accessed from this site, but existing links will now lead to the radio and electronics site. Policies for that site are the same as this site.
