News - New CB and radio software

Microphone database.
A stand-alone new version of the microphone database found on this site, providing diagrams for different radios and microphones, should soon be available.
This database is designed to run on PCs running MS Windows.


Functions.
The software will give wiring information for radios, colour information for microphones or, if you wish, show the colour to pin information for a selected radio / microphone combination.

Large database.
The database on the new software will be larger than that on the site, with over 650 radios and over 100 microphones listed in the database. The radios listed include some older models that are not presently listed on this site.

System requirements.
The software is designed to run under MS Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME and XP.
Memory and screen requirements should also be low, making the software compatible with older and slower systems.

Status.
This software is presently undergoing final testing and tweaking, and should soon be available.
